Poker Three is a three-card poker-style table game where your hand competes against the dealer. You place an Ante, receive three cards, then choose to Fold or make a Play/Raise wager equal to the Ante. Under the standard rules, the dealer needs Queen-high or better to qualify.

Choose your Ante wager. If the current table offers Pair Plus, that is a separate optional side bet on the strength of your own three-card hand.
You and the dealer each receive three cards. Evaluate your cards using Three Card Poker rankings, where a Straight ranks above a Flush.
Under standard rules, Fold forfeits the Ante. Play/Raise requires an additional wager equal to the Ante.
The standard dealer qualification threshold is Queen-high or better. If the dealer does not qualify, the Ante normally wins 1:1 and the Play wager pushes.
If the dealer qualifies, the stronger three-card hand wins. Standard Ante and Play winning wagers pay 1:1; ties push.

For the standard Queen-high dealer-qualification game, the established basic strategy is simple: Play Q-6-4 or better and Fold anything lower. This does not guarantee a winning hand; it minimizes the mathematical disadvantage of the Ante/Play decision.
Any Pair or better, any Ace-high, any King-high, and Queen-high hands at Q-6-4 or above.
Jack-high or lower, and Queen-high hands below Q-6-4 such as Q-6-3 or Q-5-x.
Under standard Three Card Poker rules, the dealer qualifies with Queen-high or better. A pair, flush, straight, three of a kind or straight flush therefore also qualifies automatically.
If the dealer fails to qualify, the common settlement is Ante wins 1:1 and Play pushes. Check the current Mega888 rules screen to confirm that its Poker Three deployment follows this standard settlement.

If your goal is the strongest long-run mathematical return, the main Ante/Play game is generally preferable to Pair Plus. Pair Plus is an optional side bet that pays when your own three cards form a Pair or better, regardless of the dealer’s hand.
Its house edge depends heavily on the paytable. For example, a common 40/30/6/3/1 schedule has a house edge around 7.28%, while PokerStars’ current 40/30/5/4/1 schedule lists a 95.51% RTP. This is why the exact Mega888 Pair Plus paytable matters.
